Social event at Chalet Mont-Royal

The social event will take place on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 19:30 at the Chalet Mont Royal. The Chalet, a French Beaux Arts structure was designed by Montreal architect Aristide Beaugrand-Champagne (1876-1950) and inaugurated in 1932. The walls of its spacious interior are decorated with pictures tracing the history of Montréal, including many painted by famous artists. The Kondiaronk scenic lookout in front of the chalet offers a striking view of the downtown area and the St. Lawrence River.

To get to the Chalet Mont-Royal, we recommend to take public transportation (from the Centre Mont-Royal, 2200 Rue Mansfield, walk to Peel / Sherbrooke and then take Bus 107-N, get off at des Pins / du Docteur-Penfield) and walk 1.2 km to the Chalet du Mont-Royal, 1196 Voie Camillien-Houde, Montréal, QC H3H 1A1. This will take approximately 30 minutes in total.

A second option is to travel to Smith House, 1260 Remembrance Road, Montreal H3H 1A2 by taxi and to walk from this point 550 meters to the Chalet Mont Royal.

If you don’t already have a valid ticket for the public transportation please ask at the registration desk for your complimentary public transport tickets for Thursday evening.
